Well, I’m writing again…about something quite practical…
…and it’s something that has been on my mind for a few years. This autumn, spare moments will be devoted to getting this idea out on digital paper. I usually aim my gaze at the space above the keyboard and below the screen, to be half sure about where my fingers are landing. I’ll think, write some more. Forward, ever forward.
Which brings me to my point. You should write as well. Write something to leave for your kids, friends, loved ones so that they will see you through a page, someday.
The obvious question on your mind might be wondering what gives us the right to write?
Your life, your original life is meant to be heard/seen/experienced.
The subject of writing for this next book will be a challenge for me to unfold. (But it is chosen, and it is good.)
- It will take research, yet I am not a scholar.
- It will take writing skills, although I regularly butcher the English language into minced meat instead of the choice cuts it deserves.
- It will take time, which I have a great shortage of.
But through the magic of the patient God who gave the idea in the first place, I’ll finish this well.
